Our team

Company history

Originally named Rickie Shore Building, we are a family-owned & operated business with a story going back over 25 years.

Rickie built a great team over that period, including bringing son Nick into the business. Nick has worked his way up through the ranks and is now the General Manager of the company while Rickie remains in a hands-on role as a Project Manager and company director.

Shore Construction has extended its reach in recent years with the additions of a Christchurch based team & a Wanaka branch powered by a dedicated team of locals.

With this growth came a vision to future proof the business. We wanted to highlight our focus on teamwork and ensure the strength of our offering was properly portrayed, so the decision was made to evolve our brand, hence the change from Rickie Shore Building to Shore Construction.
